Understanding the Pain

It all started in 2015 when my life had changed, I was in an automobile accident and at the time I was new in my faith. It was a journey trying to adjust to the constant Chronic pain.  I was not reading the Bible consistently like I should have been, I was just going to church on Sundays and Wednesdays and attending prayer meetings every Saturday. Just doing what Jessica wanted to do instead of following what the Lord had said to do. Going to church and not paying attention, not allowing the Word of God to transform and change my heart. By no means is this ok to do in our walk.

It’s 2020, I am completely changed and my life is different. I am using my story to help impact women, All the  Glory to God. I want to encourage you to read your bible day and night. Put Christ at the center of everything in your life and walk with Him Daily,  repent continually. Turn away from the things that are hindering you from giving God your all. I encourage you to give him your whole heart and not bits and pieces.  When you give only portions to God you do not receive all God has for you in return but the same portion you gave to him. If you were to seek God in abundance whole heartily then you will receive Him in abundance. We have to give in and die to ourselves to feel the true path that God intended us to have. He didn’t make a plan for us to live in partiality with him but in the fullness of His spirit and daily relationship.

If I didn’t encounter that trial I wouldn’t be who I am today, I would not be able to encourage others who are in pain.  God couldn’t take me where I needed to be hanging out with people who didn’t have good intentions for me. We may not understand why we go through these trials but I know the trials we face brings us closer to Christ and allows us to use our testimony to help impact others. When we fully commit our life to Christ He will transform our life for all to see the good works of our Heavenly Father.

I never truly understood what chronic pain was until I experienced it and took care of my spiritual mother Janice who suffered constant chronic pain.  Seeing her experience that pain, I couldn’t grasp how she could deal with it and remain sane while baring the pain. I realized now that the Lord gave her the strength to get through the pain and if He can do it for her then he can do it for me.

Philippians 4:13 declares “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

He sure does give us strength because in the midst of the pain I was able to take care of her and He gave me the strength to take care of myself. Look how Good God is. I declare this on the bad days and say by His STRIPES I AM HEALED. We need to start proclaiming our healing even during the pain, despite the chronic pain we face He will give us the strength to get through the days. Do not let the enemy get the victory,

Isaiah 54:17  “no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me, declares the LORD”

Jesus suffered on the cross for us to have an everlasting relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Isaiah 53:5 declares “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds, we are healed. BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED”.

We need to proclaim our healing every day and believe by faith, and know that he is making away. Stay encouraged and stay plugged in.  The King of Kings is returning soon. Keep your focus on Jesus and give your battles to Him.
