It’s hard to believe but we have some boxes in the shop that are still packed up from when we moved into this house nearly 20 years ago. Some boxes are trinkets and treasures still held dear, but no place to put them. Others are boxes with who knows what inside them. I need to open all the boxes and see what I can find. If I never get around to it I’ll never get to use a single thing in those boxes.
Oh beloved, did you know that God has boxes of treasures just waiting for you to open? He’s sealed everything up for you because He loves you and He has called you! He holds nothing back from you. You may have enjoyed some of His wonderful treasures in the past and just packed them away again. It’s time to open up all God’s boxes and enjoy it all! His gifts and treasures are not for an elite few, they are for everyone – including you! You have said “That’s good for them, but not for me.” Or you might have contemplated in your heart, “God won’t give me that.” You may think that God means only a little bit of treasure for you while He gives others huge boxes of all treasures. No, beloved, you are destined to have it all! He withholds no good thing from you. It’s time to open the boxes and never close them up again!
Don’t pack another thing away that God gives His children. You can have all the riches and blessings and delights of Holy Spirit! He gives elegant and useful gifts. Whatever you need or whatever you may feel that you are lacking, God has it for you! All the giftings and callings, all the freedoms and blessings – all that you have need of His hands have provided for you!
God loves you and He’s for you! If you dare to believe this today, you will spend the rest of your life opening treasures and using them for God’s glory! You will wear His gifts as fine robes and walk about in His Power and Glory as you live fully alive in His Glory and Grace!
