Vanesa Scott-Thompson

Dr. Vanesa M. Scott-Thompson (Dr. VMST) is a writer who has been featured on 5 Christian platforms, a regional magazine and a travel blog. In 2022, she released her inaugural book entitled,”Foundation Basics for New Members: Teacher & Student Manual.” She also does weekly biblical literacy videos on social media platforms.

Vanesa’s Faith Story

I was raised in church with my parents and sisters.  I accepted Christ at the age of 8.  From the age of 10 to 18, my dad held Saturday night devotions and bible study with my sister and I, that included a hymn, scripture and prayer.  We also did bible study that included the bible, bible dictionary and the concordance.  When I was 19, my faith in God deepened and has only grown since that time.  While I grew up as a denominational Christian (Baptist, Pentecostal, Full Gospel), at this point, I am non-denominational because for me the Godhead and the Bible are what matters to me.
