How many of us that follow Christ are misunderstood because when dedicating ourselves to Jesus is our priority, people will not understand. If you have experienced push back or rejection it is just as Jesus told us that we will experience this, that no matter how hard we try to bring someone to Christ they still resist, Jesus knows you are trying but sometimes that person needs to come either through someone else or on their own. Our work is to pray for them even if you have been hurt by rejection. Don’t give up or give in, that person is precious to Christ and He wants all to repent and come to Him.
“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you.”
When things get tough remember that you have been set apart for a reason and only God knows the people and places He needs you to go to glorify His name. He makes you strong when others are weak, He creates a joyful spirit in you when others are experiencing anxiety and hopelessness. He moves you towards people that need prayer and to know about Him. So be ready for whatever He calls you to do. It may be hard but He is with you all the way!
