When Jesus Comes To Get Us

Remember when we were kids and our generation had phrases we used a lot? Right on. Groovy. Far out. Peace. Those were the best phrases! Lol I think every group of people who have had such phrases believed in them at the time.

For months I have been hearing a phrase over and over again “When Jesus comes to get us”. And you know what? It’s time to believe in that phrase for our season as believers.

Oh beloved, when Jesus comes to get you and me… The Lord wants us to live by that phrase. He wants us to be so focused on His return that our lives are aligned with His. He is looking for great faith. He is returning for His bride, those whose hearts are fully His.

And for your life, since He will return one day to get you, you can rest and rely on that phrase. Times are hard, people are losing truth and the battle for faith is raging. But you, precious believer, are focusing your gaze on the One who knows you best and loves you most. You can’t change other people’s opinions or positions by being upset, worried or fearful. But as you live for Jesus and align yourself with His Truth, you will find rest for the struggles of life you are in. Talk about “Peace”! Talk about being “Right On”. While you can’t know the exact day of His return, you can expect it is nearer than ever. God is caring for you because He cares about you. Don’t let the despair of the season cause you to get your eyes off Jesus. The Same Jesus who is the author of your faith will be the finisher as well!

God loves you and He’s for you. Rejoice that you can live in faith and walk in victory. You can rely on Him for life and godliness as well. And you can live in the Light of His love, joy, peace, wisdom and power today and every day until He comes to get you!

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him.

Isaiah 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Matthew 24:27 For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
