Where’s Your Place?

It’s not our place.

To make people see their sin.

To make people know our God.

To fret, worry, finagle, scheme about our lives.

It’s not our place to do anything but abide in Christ and show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

But once we know OUR place, we can show others.  Where does God say our place is?

At the Banquet table where He spreads a feast of life in the presence of our enemy.

To fill the position we are called to in Christ.

To walk in faith, live in freedom and speak the Word.

Oh beloved, aren’t you glad it’s not your place to live for other people? Aren’t you fortunate that your place isn’t to live for the pleasures of this world?  Aren’t you praising God that although your place is to be commissioned to share the Gospel, you can’t make that miraculous change happen?

God loves you and He’s for you. Your best and first place is to abide in Christ and live loved while revealing to the world what a wonderful thing it is to know Christ and live in the power of Holy Spirit every single day.  Run to Him this morning and thank Him and ask Him to show you your place in the world this day and live in the Light of His glory and grace.

Romans 5: 1 “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.”

Matthew 5: 15-16Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”

John 15: 15  I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.”
