Who and What Won’t Be in Heaven?

Scripture: According to Paul’s letter to the church at Corinth, these are some who won’t be in heaven: 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 “Don’t you know the unrighteous won’t inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived: neither those sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who practice homosexuality, thieves, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

Paul added some to whom he wrote had been such before being washed in the cleansing blood of Jesus.  So we can rejoice that the shed blood of Jesus saves all who repent of sin, no matter how sinful and depraved.  Some other things won’t be in heaven: there will no more sin committed, no more heartache, disappointments, or temptations. Imagine never being tempted again or ever suffering pain!

Prayer:  Father, thank You for all our blessings, and I don’t believe old age will interfere with our lives in heaven. We pray and thank You in Jesus’ name for all blessings. Amen.
