You Are Defined by Heaven

You Are Defined by Heaven

Opening Word

You were not created to be insignificant, and you were never designed to be silent. You were not placed on this earth to carry the weight of other people’s opinions or to live under the shadow of false identity. The world did not make you, and culture did not form you. Your past did not define you because Heaven already had the final word over your life. Heaven defines you with clarity and authority, and that truth is stronger than every wound or memory that ever tried to speak against your worth. There is a name written over your life that no one can erase. There is a divine purpose within you that no mistake can cancel. There is a God given fire in your spirit that continues to burn because it was ignited by Him, and nothing in this world has the power to extinguish what He has placed within you.

Scripture: Jeremiah 1:5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Break the Lie (Full Paragraph Form):

The lie says that you are only the sum of what you have survived, as if your identity is nothing more than the weight of your past experiences. The truth declares that you are who God spoke you to be before the world ever had the chance to place a single label on your life. His voice is the first voice. His identity is the true identity. His intention for your life is far greater than anything you have walked through.

Journal Reflection:

What names have you answered to that God never gave you?

What would change in your life if you believed only what Heaven said about you?

Declaration

I am not defined by the world around me, and I am not limited by the memories behind me. I am fully and completely defined by Heaven. God called me, God formed me, and God appointed me long before anyone else ever spoke a word over my life. His identity is my identity, and His word stands firm.
