You Can Fly

When I was a little girl I thought I could fly. Seriously. I’d stand on the couch and jump and in my youthful imagination I’d sweep around the living room through the air and back to the couch. It was pretty exhilarating and gave me a sense of oh so much freedom.

Eventually I quit “flying”. I got older and attributed that ability to fly to my imagination.

Oh beloved, God reminds me of youthful flying this morning because He wants you to know your abilities in Christ including flying! Soaring in the Spirit is your birthright as a born again child of God. As you are filled with Holy Spirit you are set free! Not to be earthbound but to be launched! He wants to remind you that the incredible life you have includes so much more than waiting for heaven. In this beautiful Spirit filled life you are free! And you are called, chosen and unchained! Being filled with the Spirit is your ticket to heavenly access for the here and now. Depression, disappointment, fear, anxiety – have to flee! You are no longer the product of your past – neither self inflicted sins nor things done wrongly to you. The more you let Holy Spirit fill you the higher you will soar! Heavenly realm living is yours! Never were you created by Christ to live defeated. You have the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead!!!

God loves you and He’s for you. Run to Him this morning and ask Him to fill you with Holy Spirit in a fresh infilling! He will never turn you down! And then beloved, launch out into your spectacular calling and be loosed to live with wisdom, power and love!

2 Corinthians 3: 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Romans 8: 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

John 6: 63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you–they are full of the Spirit and life.

Acts 13: 52 And the disciples were continually filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
