Your Source

My wonderful husband takes such good care of me. He made it so my feet would be warm at night. He placed our electric mattress pad on the bed for me.

I turned it on and wow it was nice. The next night I thought I turned it on again, only it was just the small heating pad lying on the floor beside the bed. Well the spot on the carpet was warm but not my feet! Finally after turning things off and on and not feeling warm at all I realized something. The heating mattress pad was not on the bed! He had put a small heating pad on my side of the bed just for my cold feet. I had been unplugging one thing and still not finding warmth.

How important it is that we plug into the right source for our needs.

Oh beloved, your Source begins and ends in Christ. Without plugging into Him none of us will truly have our needs met. We get mixed up and try to plug into rules, plans and systems. When relationship is all that works. What a reminder that Jesus said “abide in Me for apart from Me you can do nothing”.

The Lord wants you to know that in Christ you have everything you will ever need. Warmth, comfort, value, purpose, and covering of your entire life. He is the answer to your deepest longings. He wants you to understand that by plugging into Him you are accessing His rich and precious promises. He calls you chosen, appointed, redeemed and blessed. Don’t step out from under His tender loving care. He will always be there for you. This is your life connection to dwell in the Secret place of the Most High! No other source will ever do.

God loves you and He’s for you. Jesus sealed that Truth. Run to Him this morning and thank Him for everything. He is your source for life and ministry and heaven. Praise Him that you are blessed to walk in His Light all the days of your life!

Genesis 22: 14 – Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-Jireh, the LORD is my provider. As it is said to this day, “In the LORD’s mountain it will be provided.”

Psalms 34: 9, 10 – Oh fear the LORD, you his saints, For there is no lack with those who fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, But those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.

1 Corinthians 2: 12 – But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.

Psalm 91: 1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. KJV
