Cara fell in love with Jesus in her 20’s. Married to her High School sweetheart, they made their home in Alaska. God has given them three unique and outgoing kids. She is passionate about women loving scripture, Bible literacy and being barefoot. In her spare time she enjoys walking with her family, sitting in the sun and reading good books.

Spiritual seeds were scattered throughout my childhood, but it was not clear they had taken root until my 20’s. I had spent my life living for myself, until one day, conviction was laid on my heart heavily. Unsure of how to stop the guilt and immense shame, I embarked on a journey of attending church. Afraid, I shared how I had been feeling at a Bible study, where the gospel was presented clearly to me. For the first time – I saw grace – and became a new creation. God brought my husband to Himself roughly three years later. Today, we continue to grow towards Christ together as we raise our family and serve in our local church.
