“This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, when the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.5 Now no shrub had yet appeared on the earth and no plant had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no one to work the ground, 6 but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground.” Genesis 2:4-6
“Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the Lord God had not sent rain upon the earth; and there was no man to cultivate the ground.”
The shrub wasn’t even in the earth, but the reference does suggest that the plant was in the field.
I do know if its harder to create a shrub, then to create a watermelon. I have tried both and I was far more successful with a watermelon plant. God’s wisdom knows when and where we need to plant.
