Running Everywhere?

I made a quick run to the mega mart last night after 9 pm. I’m not one to get out at night especially when it’s cold. But two things were needed and I made the offer to fetch them. First I searched for another item in case they had it. No luck. The items I did get were at opposite ends of the huge building so I ran all over the place to get them.

I’m the first to admit that when I find myself in need, I often run all over the place trying to find the peace, comfort, joy I need. But then I realize everything I need, literally everything I search for is found in Christ.

Oh beloved, you can stop searching too. Christ is your answer no matter what the need. And you don’t have to search a warehouse or travel to distant places to find Him. He’s your answer to troubled times. He’s your covering when you feel exposed. He’s your love when animosity comes your way. He’s the Provider of all you will ever need. He reveals truth when you’re confused. He is your courage when fear sets in. You may be in a hard place – but it’s never too hard for Him to provide for you. He’s your stability in marriage, life and work.

He also woos you with amazing love – He draws you with that Love. He calls you to go to Him first before you venture out to find your own way or meet your own needs. Such vital fellowship cannot be found in any other relationship. But fellowship with Him enhances every other relationship you have. He forgives all, He renews everything, He restores your soul. Even if you walk through trouble, He’s your front and rear guard. He is your everything.

God loves you and He’s for you. That’s evident in His gift of Jesus – your Savior, your Redeemer and Friend. Rejoice in what you have in Christ and live in the Light of all that He is!

Colossians 1: 15-17 “Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through Him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see–such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through Him and for Him. He existed before anything else, and He holds all creation together.”

Luke 12: 24 “Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to Him than any birds!”

John 14: 27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.”

Philippians 4: 19 “And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
