The answer is S-I-N!
Before creating man, God prepared a perfect place for him to live, and in that Garden made every beautiful tree to produce food. Also in the midst of the garden, He planted the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Also a river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there divided into four streams. So God prepared a perfect place for the first two people; but perhaps Satan still was raging with hatred toward God for having him cast of heaven and will try to spoil His perfect people.
God created Adam and placed him in the Garden of Eden. All he was required to do was work the garden and care for it. Later after God observed that man was lonely without a companion, He put him to sleep, removed a rib from his body, made him a companion, and brought her to him.
But God created man in His image with the ability to make choices, and he made one bad choice that continues to plague mankind. God had said, “You may eat fruit of every tree of the garden, but of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, you shall not eat: for in the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die.”
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ name we ask You to have mercy on our sinful nation; and though Your children are guilty of sin, forgive us and use our lives to influence others to follow You.
