Filled Up With God

We don’t always see the bird seed thief in action. But the evidence was there this morning in the form of an empty bird feeder. This happens about once a year as a raccoon makes a big haul on free food. There’s no way to run the interloper off if you don’t see him.

Oh beloved, your bird feeder may be safe, but there is an interloper who wants to rob everything you have stored for your life. The evidence is clear. The empty feeling is not from the Lord. The sorrow, worry, fear, anger, frustration, disappointment, discouragement is not from God.

Isn’t it wonderful to wake up this morning knowing you can stay completely filled up with God Himself? Peace, patience, gentleness and oh so much more. Faith, wisdom, power. All you ever need is in full supply and you don’t have to worry about God’s provision running out. But it can be stolen. Today you are so blessed to wake up and to live in fullness. In Christ dwells on the fullness of the Godhead bodily! And you are in Christ! The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in you! And that empty tomb? The emptiness is your key to fullness! You can’t change all the circumstances of your life, what you go through or encounter. But you can remain full in spite of the big haul the enemy wants to take from you. Oh how wonderful it is to know that the Love of God, which is far beyond all human understanding, guards your life even while you sleep!

God loves you and He’s for you. Time to wake up and express the joy of being filled with the goodness of God in the land of the living. You aren’t a victim of what the news says or what the empty feelings want you to live by. You are a forever provided for child of God who is living in fullness and blessings because you belong to Him!

Ephesians 3:14-19 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name , that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man , so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith ; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love , may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth , and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge , that you may be filled up to all the fullness of God .

Colossians 2:9-10 For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form. And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
